Our fabulous volunteers have been working with Fixers to challenge the stereotypes around growing up and living within the Easterhouse area. Together they have came up with this fantastic video to showcase that Easterhouse is not the same place as it used to be and to show the positive impact volunteering has made within the local community.

'Growing up in Easterhouse wasn’t the best,' said lead fixer Kieran O’Shea.

'People would think we were up to trouble and avoid us, there were no opportunities. But no one really knows what we are up to and how good we are.'

YoMo would like to thank all volunteers for their fantastic contribution to their communities and making a positive impact out there.
