Representing Young Peoples Issues (RYPI) were a group of young volunteers from across the East End of Glasgow supported by the Glasgow East Youth Network members.  The group formed in 2009 to strengthen the voice of young people within the East Glasgow Area.

The group met regularly to talk about issues in their local communities and came up with positive solutions to tackle these issues.  The RYPI group were involved in many exciting pieces of work including:

- The Shettleston Halls Consultation

- 4 European Youth Exchanges

- Save the Children’s Young Ambassadors Programme

- The creation of a Peer Education Anti-Bulling Pack for Youth and Community Groups.

During 2010/11 the group worked with YoMo and Save the Children’s in My Back Yard Programme.  The group highlighted bullying as a major issue amongst young people in the East.  After working with Respectme – Scotland’s’ Anti-Bullying Service - The group developed a young person friendly Anti-Bullying pack.
